SurgeZirc Media, a global multimedia platform focused on online business, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive partnership agreement with Murflicks, a movie streaming startup company based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Murflicks movies will be integrated on SurgeZirc global platforms, allowing the streaming startup company to share the media company’s millions of local visitors in South Africa, Nigeria, and other African countries. The agreement will also help Murflicks expand into Europe and Asia, as SurgeZirc already has a presence on both continents.
Speaking about the partnership, SurgeZirc Media CEO, Xoliswa Magidigidi said: “We are thrilled to be a part of this project, not only for the new revenue stream, but also for the opportunity to recommend firsthand original local video content to our valued visitors, as our stories are mostly written in text.”
Meanwhile, Murflicks founder & CEO, Sam Zewas noted that his team is super excited about the partnership pointing out that the collaboration will place Murflicks on a flight.
“Murflicks, as a startup, will not have as much difficulty generating traffic as it should because our movies and shows will be integrated across SurgeZirc Media’s global platforms. In fact, the collaboration will put Murflicks on a flight.”
In response to questions about when the streaming app will be available, Sam stated that the company will make an announcement very soon.
“The Murflicks project is huge and dear to us as a team. We are setting up a large number of professionals in different teams to ensure that we do not simply launch a streaming platform, but a platform that meets the needs of Africans in terms of both quality and content. Remember, this is the first African global movie streaming platform. We will communicate the launch date soon.”
